Description

Deliciously roasted broccoli florets seasoned to perfection.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons avocado oil
  • 1 tablespoon garlic (minced)
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. Cut broccoli into evenly sized 1″ pieces. Using a hand towel, pat-dry the washed broccoli then place in a large freezer bag.
  3. Add the oil and minced garlic, toss well, then spread onto a baking sheet in a single layer. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Roast in your preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until fork tender and lightly golden on the edges.
  5. Remove from the oven and squeeze fresh lemon juice over the top. Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve warm. Enjoy!

  • This dish pairs well with grilled chicken or fish.
  • For extra flavor, add red pepper flakes before roasting.
