- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup chopped pretzels
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat until browned and nutty in aroma.
- In a bowl, mix the browned butter with brown sugar and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Add eggs one at a time, followed by vanilla extract; mix well after each addition.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt; gradually add to the wet ingredients.
- Fold in peanut butter and chopped pretzels until combined.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them apart.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until lightly golden around the edges; cool on wire racks before serving.
Notes
- The cookies can be stored in an airtight container for up to a week.
- Try adding chocolate chips for an extra treat!
