Description

Make a beautiful decorative Easter egg using frosting, sprinkles, and candy!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz. Vanilla frosting
  • 2 Tablespoons Pastel sprinkles or nonpareils
  • 25 Chocolate covered almonds
  • 1/4 cup pastel blend M&M’s

Instructions

  1. Cut a square piece of parchment paper to fit inside your board.
  2. Using a spreader or butter knife, make an egg shape with the frosting. The egg should cover ¾ of the parchment paper.
  3. Add light sprinkles/nonpareils to the top and bottom of the egg.
  4. Outline the egg with alternating colors of Jordan almonds. Almonds should be touching.
  5. Pick two colors of M&M’s and make a zigzag line about 1 ½ inches from the top of the egg.
  6. Repeat with same or two different colors at the bottom of the egg.
  7. Fill the remaining space at the top and bottom with more nonpareils or sprinkles.
  8. Use colored M&M’s to fill the center of the egg.
