Description
A refreshing kale salad with ripe pears, toasted walnuts, and a balsamic vinaigrette.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 cups kale, chopped
- 2 ripe pears, sliced
- 1 cup walnuts, toasted
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tbsp honey
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Wash and dry kale leaves thoroughly; chop into bite-sized pieces.
- Slice pears in half, remove the core, and thinly slice.
- Toast walnuts in a skillet over medium heat for about 5 minutes until golden brown.
- In a bowl, whisk together balsamic vinegar, olive oil, honey, salt, and pepper.
- In a large bowl, combine kale, sliced pears, and toasted walnuts. Drizzle with dressing and toss gently.
- Serve immediately for optimal freshness.
