Description

Delicious soft cookies packed with white chocolate chips and colorful sprinkles.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour (+ 1 to 2 tablespoons flour if desired for thicker cookies)
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup unsalted butter (straight from fridge or room temperature)
  • ¼ cup firmly packed light brown sugar
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon Princess Lorann Oils Princess Cake and Cookie Bakery Emulsion
  • 2 cups white chocolate chips or white chocolate chunks
  • ½ to ¾ cup sprinkles (add more on tops of cookies if desired)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper or spray with non-stick spray. (To get best results, use parchment paper)
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients: flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another large bowl, using an electric mixer at medium speed, beat together the butter and sugars until smooth and well mixed.
  4. Add the egg and extract, and mix on low speed until combined.
  5. Gradually add the flour mixture, mixing until just incorporated. Do not overmix.
  6. Add white chocolate chips and sprinkles, mixing until just incorporated.
  7. Using a small or large cookie scoop or heaping tablespoon, drop the dough onto the prepared baking sheets, 6 to 8 per pan, depending on the size you are making.
  8. Bake the cookies, 1 sheet at a time, until the bottoms and edges are lightly browned and the tops feel firm when lightly touched. Small cookies bake for 8-10 minutes, large cookies bake for 10-13 minutes.
  9. Let the cookies cool for 5 minutes on the baking sheets, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely.
  10. Makes 18-30 cookies depending on size.

Notes

  • For thicker cookies, add 1 to 2 tablespoons of flour.
  • Best served fresh, but can be stored in an airtight container for several days.
