Description

Delicious cookies packed with fresh cherries and dark chocolate chips, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup fresh pitted cherries, chopped (or frozen)
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy (about 3 minutes).
  3. Gradually sift in flour, baking soda, and salt while mixing on low speed until just combined; lumps are fine.
  4. Gently fold in chopped cherries and dark chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  5. Scoop heaping tablespoons of dough onto prepared baking sheets, leaving space between each cookie.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until edges turn golden brown while keeping soft centers intact.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before enjoying.
